Human rights first: victims of American warfare

orange.victim.american.warfare.jpg“I too am an Agent Orange Second Generation Victim. For years I have felt very isolated and unsure of what to do. I am a wife and mother of 3 healthy children. I am 37 yrs old and was born with Severe Hip Dysplasia. From the time I was 13 months old, I had reconstruction surgery every few years until I was 17 years old and at that time had my 1st Total Hip Replacement. I am now getting ready for my 5th Total Hip Replacement and 4th Pelvic Reconstruction since 17. I am also battling several rare forms of skin cancer that are life threatening. These cancers are seen in older generations that have had "extreme carcinogenic and pesticide exposure". I have had no direct exposure to these. I have gone through 2 rounds of chemotherapy in the last 4 years only to have the cancer come back stronger. I am in surgery for tumor removal at least once a month. The hundreds of scars on my body are horrific. My Doctors cannot put me through anymore chemotherapy as I have been told my body will not make it. There is a drug that is currently in trials that at the very least would buy me some time. The drug companies manufacturing this have denied me access to the trial as I am "too sick" and would "mess up their numbers". I have gone several rounds with the V.A. only to be denied time and again because I don't have Spina Bifida and because my Father served in Vietnam and not my Mother. My Father served in Vietnam during the heaviest spray periods. I have had numerous tests done and every Medical Professional has said without a doubt ALL of my medical issues today and at birth are a DIRECT result of my Father's exposure to Agent Orange. He also has numerous medical conditions ALL of which have been linked to the Agent Orange exposure.”

Western powers invest in military interventions

France and the United States have put more pressure on Algeria to support a military intervention in crisis-hit African country of Mali.

"An intervention in northern Mali is possible without the military backing of Algeria but not without its green light," said the head of the Centre of African Studies, a French think-tank, Pierre Boilley on Sunday.

The military officials of the US and France reportedly held a secret meeting in Paris earlier this month in a bid to draw a plan for military action in Mali to help the Bamako government fight the so-called al-Qaeda-affiliated radicals in the country’s north.

France, the former colonial master of Algeria and Mali, discussed the crisis that has split Mali in two since March during a visit by Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius in July.

American Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last week that the Pentagon is working with allies on a plan to deal with 'al-Qaida-linked militants in Mali and elsewhere in the North Africa region', with American assistance likely to center on intelligence and logistical support.

Since 2007, the U.S. has spent more than $550 million to help train and supply an African proxy force of about 18,000 soldiers in Somalia.

Many Western powers fear the Sahara desert nation could become like Afghanistan and, like everywhere, they invest on the first place in military interventions.

Currently the Horn of Africa is experiencing the highest rate of malnutrition. Some 30 per cent of children are suffering from Global Acute Malnutrition (GAM).

Popular March in Homs City to Express Shared Amity

Sept. 29, 2012 - HOMS, (SANA) - Citizens of the neighborhoods of al-Nuzha, Akrama, al-Zahraa, Ashira and Karm al-Louz in the city of Homs on Saturday went out on a popular march from al-Nuzha roundabout to Baba Amro neighborhood in an expression of shared amity.

With rice and national songs, the marchers were heartedly welcomed by the residents of Baba Amro neighborhood, who along with their fellow citizens planted an olive tree at the neighborhood's roundabout as a symbol of amity for each other.

Homs Governor, Ahmad Munir Mohammad, highlighted in a statement to SANA the importance of such initiatives in strengthening love and unity among the city's sons, stressing that "no matter how hard the enemies try, the Syrian people will remain strong and steadfast in the face of the conspiracies."

For his part, Jamal Nasr, head of 'Syria Is Our Home' campaign, said the aim of this march is to emphasize that "we are an invincible people that can't be defeated no matter how the conspirators try to spread their venom in Syria." "We are loyal to this homeland and to each other," Nasr reiterated.

The residents participating in the march considered this event as a step towards the comprehensive reconciliation in all Homs neighborhoods to pave the way for restoring Homs as it used to be.

"This meeting came to send a message to those who are funding terrorism that the Syrian people will continue to defend the homeland whatever the cost," Ahmad al-Sajj, a member of Baba Amro committee, told SANA reporter.

The participants stressed this activity is a proof to the whole world that the citizens of Homs city were raised on amity and tolerance, affirming that Syria will achieve victory thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian Arab Army.

terrorist.attacks.jpg

'The future of Syria will be built by its people and none other. The support of the international community is indispensable and urgent. It will only be effective if all pull in the same direction' (Joint Special Representative Lakhdar Brahimi in remarks to the UN General Assembly on the situation in Syria, 4 Sept 2012)

Who's responsible for terrorist acts in Syria ?

Obama.Ban+Ki+Moon+World+Leaders.jpg

1) Obama signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for Syrian terrorists seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government.  Obama’s order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence “finding,” broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the terrorists oust Assad.  C.I.A. officers are operating secretly in southern Turkey. The weapons, including automatic rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, ammunition and some antitank weapons, are being funneled mostly across the Turkish border by way of a shadowy network of intermediaries including Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood and paid for by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The United States is setting up joint military, intelligence and medical working teams with Israel, Turkey and Jordan.

2) British Foreign Secretary William Hague said Britain would step up its support for the armed groups in Syria, providing them with an additional £5 million (US$7.8 million). The money is used for bomb attacks in Syria.

3) An official source told a SANA reporter that the seized arms included Nato sniper rifles, machineguns, hunting rifles, explosive devices of various weights, devices for remote control detonation and an amount of batteries and electrical wires.

4) Belgian Senator Nele Lijnen said that she intends to launch a discussion at the Belgian Senate regarding the fact that the terrorists in Syria possess weapons made in Belgium.

5) The Swiss Authorities announced that they are investigating into information published by Sonntags Zeitung newspaper about hand grenades used by armed terrorist groups in Syria.

6) The weapons and military equipment recently discovered and seized by the Syrian Army in Idlib province proves NATO's arms and logistic support for terrorists in Syria.

7) The seized weapons in Salqain district in Idlib included 7.26 guns along with other weapons as well as boxes of gunshots with the words "NATO BALL" carved on them.

8) The Lebanese army intelligence has seized a large quantity of wea Lutfallah II container pons hidden inside cars aboard an Italian ship at Tripoli port, north of Lebanon, Lebanese security sources told Al-Manar TV.

9) This comes just days after the Lebanese Army Marines confiscated Lutfallah II arms shipment off the Lebanese port of Batoun while it was carrying 300,000 pounds of weapons within three containers. Reports said the cargo ship, which was flying the flag of Sierra-Leone, had left Libya and was bound to Syria.

10) Lebanese terrorist Mohammad Hussein Fares confessed to participating in smuggling weapons, militants and journalists into Syria and committing terrorists acts against Syrians.

11) Fares said that they smuggled assault rifles, RPG rounds, sniper rifles, LAW missiles, machineguns and cases of ammo, delivering them to Amoun, with al-Jarban coming later to distribute them among terrorists.

12) US, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are arming AL-QAEDA Terrorists to commit Terrorism in Syria

13) Over 30,000 various weapons have been channelled to Syria since unrest flared up there in April last year, Amin Khteit says. The overall amount of explosives makes up 300 tons. The deliveries were made by Qatar and Saudi Arabia. They depend on the United States, which is making every effort to overpower Syria.

14) The authorities seized weapons smuggled from Turkey in Tal Abyad area on the Syrian-Turkish borders in Raqqa countryside.

15) A Turkish parliamentarian has stressed that Turkish ambulances are transporting weapons to terrorist groups in Syria, expressing their opposition to Ankara's policies on the Syrian case.
